News reaches me from Mrs Foreman's fashionista friends that the world's biggest plant manufacturer is eyeing our high streets for style tips.
Apparently Caterpillar's top brass have had the bright idea of opening a chain of lifestyle shops to sell its prêt-a-porter line of boots, trousers and jackets.
Appropriately, the first store is to be located in the world's biggest shopping centre, the Dubai Mall. Caterpillar says more stores will follow over the next two years as it tests key markets around the world.
The exact locations remain a closely-guarded secret, although it can't be too long before you will be able to pop to Capital to buy the latest Cat work and evening wear.
As yet, there is no name for the new chain of stores. A feline theme would be good though. My suggestion is to take a few tips from retailing impresario Sir Phillip Green, of TopShop fame, and call it 'TopCat'.
