'Ere we go, 'ere we go, 'ere we go...again

And so the never-ending Wembley saga rolls on and on. This time the news is that Mott has filed its defence against Brookfield's (formerly Multiplex) £253m mega-claim over delays on the job. Still, I thought I had better try and keep up with the inexorable tale of who is blaming whom for what and why by heading down to the Technology and Construction Court.
I balked though, when I heard what the photocopying bill was going to be for the latest slab of legal jargon - £250 for a single defence document! I always think of the Wembley debacle as being a lose-lose situation for everyone involved - but it appears the court system is doing rather well out of the whole affair...
