News reaches me that if you're looking for a rocking good time you need to get down to King's Cross in London for the Battle of the Construction Industry Bands. The gig to end all rock gigs has returned by popular demand for an encore on 1 October.
So any construction-style Keith Richards who are backed by contractor in-house bands should get the tour bus down to Argent's German Gymnasium on King's Cross Central's development site in London.
It's a fund raiser that's a bit like Britain's got talent with hards hats and steeleys. Apparently, there will be three as yet unamed "celebrity judges" handing out prizes. Anyone holding a candle for Armada Holden should probably expect to be disappointed.
Last years Tony Giddings, director of Argent wowed the crowds as lead singer of the band S'Argent. But the winner on the night was Wild Sex Party from structural engineer WSP. They won the peoples vote, attracting a huge crowd of followers. Of course, you would wouldn't you with a name like that in King's Cross.
Foreman will be there in the mosh pit.
