It seems Hitler isn't a fan of Carillion. At least that's the impression given by a spoof video doing the rounds on the interweb at the moment.
If that sounds weird, it's probably because it is. It's all to do with the troubled £545m Edinburgh tram system, which is facing significant delays. Track-laying work has been put on hold while the council-owned company Transport Initiatives Edinburgh (Tie) and BSC, the consortium comprising Bilfinger, Siemens and CAF, negotiate.
Anyway, some disgruntled local has taken an excerpt from the German movie Downfall which depicts Hitler going beserk at his generals in his bunker as he discovers that WWII is nearly lost.
Except that the wag who made the video has changed the subtitles so that Hitler now looks like he is talking about the tram project instead. It's fairly amusing, although why the person in question chose to pick on poor old Carillion, which is undertaking only the preparatory work to shift underground cables and pipes I'm not quite sure.
