Wind farms are beautiful, part II

Maybe the view of the wind farms at Chelker reservoir won't be so beautiful after all, and my point about wind farms fitting in not so valid...

The current turbines are in a state of disrepair (thanks Mel, at Elemental) and are due to be replaced. It's not a direct swap, though, as the Ilkley Gazette points out. Two 400 foot giants are set to replace the existing four machines (about 130 foot each). The landowner/developer is Yorkshire Water, the contractor is Arup.
