    tony mate every economy needs migrant workers,if there's a gap they fill it,we as construction workers have to learn to compete,i get the hump like most!. but in the 80s we were in Germany,our brickies were doing the work for a lot less than jerry, in the 90s i myself was in ireland with many other plasterers and got the "over here ...

    the mere thought of work let alone hard work is alien to most youngsters today,especially when these blood sucking recruitment agencies(i'm sure they must be made up by bankers or politicians) rob them each pay day,in 1988 i was paying a plasterers mate £180pw,5 and a day week,20 years later the agencies are not pay this much,...lets make ...

    your right,and a trade for most lads from the uk was a way to earn a good livining,if you did'nt do uni and get a degree.,so you could still afford a home,wife kids,but now,having served your time wont mean diddley,and with the attitude of most they dont bother,sad as it is 1 in 5 is livining in poverty in the uk,now getting a trade might just ...

    We can shout and scream till we'r blue in the face,fact is nobody cares for the english trades man anymore,we're not wanted,by the big builders,my last job in london's regents park out of the 20 or so plasterers i was the only english speeking one,that's how they get over comuincation thing,dont have anyone who can speek english
