Our client is a local expanding Piling and Civil Engineering contractor who urgently require an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee projects in Dubai with a value circa £6m as well as a further 2-3 projects circa £1m. Projects are mainly infrastructure schemes including R/C sub structure, pipe laying (utilities), tunnels etc. Apart from running projects you will be responsible for maintaining tight schedules, liaising with in-house Piling P/Ms and ultimately the clients.
Due to the majority of the workforce being local you will have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Middle East and be able to demonstrate that you have been effective in a similar role.
Candidates must be degree qualified, preferably in Civil Engineering, with 8-10 years post graduate experience. Due to the nature of this position, where you could be located at various projects within the region, single status applicants will be looked upon favourably.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking to make the step up to Project Manager with a company that is driven by senior UK management.
