COMMERCIAL MANAGER / DIRECTOR

Our client is a highly respected international heavy civil engineering and construction contractor who operate throughout Africa, Middle East and Europe.

They have recently won a US$600m build project in Libya and are seeking a Commercial Manager / Director to manage all commercial and contractual aspects of this project. As a minimum standard, applicants will be degree qualified in either Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering with RICS membership looked upon favourably if from a QS background.

Due to the size and value of this project candidates will have previous Commercial Management / Director experience as "No1" on projects valued at US$300m+ within the Middle East or North Africa.

Excellent people management and interpersonal skills will be required due to the multi cultural make up of the commercial department.

As well as leading the commercial division your role will also involve client facing responsibilities, so diplomacy and experience in a senior level environment is essential.
