Commercial Procurement Contracts Manager

A large public sector Procurement organisation is looking for an experienced Procurement professional who has experience of public sector procurement regulations to join their project team. Previous rail or infrastructure project experience is desirable.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate experience of the complete procurement life cycle. Experience of developing key stakeholder relationships with the ability to take a lead advisory role essential. You will have had experience in drafting and negotiating contracts within a rail environment. It is likely that you will have worked on either a large rail or civil infrastructure project for a public sector organisation.

It is absolutely essential you have a relevant degree and are a member of a relevant commercial discipline, e.g. MCIPS or RICS.

It is also essential that you have a proven track record within project controls and have a strong grasp of cost management and these applied to major infrastructure projects.


This is initially a six month contract which maybe extended beyond this time.
