Our client, one of the most respected contractors in the Middle East with a t/o in excess of US$3b p/a, are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their existing commercial team on the new build Saudi University for Women. The project will include 12 buildings and cover an area of approx. 1.3 sq km. The project is underway and has a completion date of 2011.
Reporting directly to the Project Director you will be a Civil Engineer or a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 20 years building/construction experience with a background in contract administration.
Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English is ESSENTIAL with proven experience in Quantity Surveying and / or Contracts Administration of Projects on the Contractor's side.
You will also have the ability to delegate tasks to Quantity Surveying and junior staff; knowledge and experience in legal matters is an asset.
