A DESIGN MANAGER IS NEEDED IN THE REGION OF WEST SUSSEX FOR AN IMEDIATE START. THE CLIENT IS A MAIN CONTRACTOR WHO WILL BE WORKING ON A 4 YEAR PROJECT.
My client is the largest contractor in the UK with a £10bn turnover per annum. They recently bought Parsons Brinckerhoff, a collection of 13 UK operating companies reporting to group. The company is split between northern and southern regions dealing with building and civil works.
Based in Chandlers Ford initially for 6-8 months, then out on academies (west Sussex), the new candidate will work from design stage C onwards, looking after the delivery phase and looking after out on site.
The role will have report into the contractors Operations Director.
Background in architecture/engineering and have experience of at least five years in the industry working for a contractor. The candidate will ideally be in one and a half hours of both locations. Other ideal qualities would be recent education experience, BSF or academies. The candidate must know stage C onwards.
