Estimator / Senior Estimator - Residential developer excellent progression
The client is a relatively small but expanding housing developer based in Essex who are bucking the trend and have seen good growth during the last year. Coming out of the recession they are set in an excellent position to take a much larger share of the market and have good acquisitions across the south east area. Due to this growth they are looking for an Estimator / Senior Estimator to join and progress within their business.
The Job:
The Estimator / Senior Estimator will handle a range of residential development from social housing, to 200+ unit builds to luxury £20+ million properties. The projects cover inception land acquisition and ground works thought to complete fit-out. As the senior estimator you will be expected to handle all the duties including pricing from first principles and sourcing the best prices from a range of suppliers and subcontractors.
It is important that the successful Estimator fits in with the companies' dynamic ethos and is commercially astute to gain the best prices for the projects. If the Estimator has the ability to run with the projects through to completion this would be an ideal situation.
Remuneration:
£50,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
Company Car allowance
Good holiday allowance
Bonus options negotiable
Requirements:
BSc / HND in relevant subject preferable
Circa 10 years Estimating experience
Contract / Developer background
Good range of project experience
Commercially astute to get the best deal
