Filter Test Engineer

Particulate and gaseous filtration system testing is a key service provided by our client to the UK nuclear and defence industries. Their filtration team have recently seen increased demand from current nuclear customers in addition to development of their services into non-nuclear markets.



Our client is seeking filter test engineers to be primarily based in our Berkeley office in Gloucestershire, with opportunities for considerable travel within the UK. There may also be opportunity for overseas work.



Your main responsibilities will be to work as part of a highly focused and flexible team and undertake particulate (HEPA) filter and iodine absorption plant testing operations on customer sites. You will act as team leader where experience and/or qualification permits. You will be responsible for providing support to other parts of the Service Team as required and you will be involved in the preparation and verifying of test reports in compliance with corporate management systems



You will come from a Engineering or Scientific background and although experience of working on a nuclear licensed site and awareness of Site License Requirements is preferred it is not essential and we welcome applications from candidates from a non-nuclear background.



You may be required to travel to other sites within the UK so a full driving license is required for the role. You will also be a customer and safety focused individual who believes in delivering only quality.
