Our client's Chichester office requires a Senior Design Engineer to join their growing highways and drainage team.
The candidate will be required to take responsibility for the preparation of consultation, preliminary and detailed design and contract documents for highway schemes across a range of service areas.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and/or checking of technical reports, specifications, tender and other written documents, design calculations and drawings. At times you will need to take part in consultations with external authorities (e.g. public utilities, local authorities, environment and other agencies) and attend at client progress and design meetings.
Applicants will need to be Degree qualified, computer literate, have knowledge of DMRB highway design standards, and experience in a similar position.
