Our client requires a Highways Planner to join there existing team to work on Highways Agency projects throughout the South East of England. Ideally you will have a civil engineering degree and would have started your career as an Engineer.
You can be based from either of their offices in Middlesex or Kent
Responsibilities General Duties
Understand Contract Documents, Develop a full and detail appreciation of the Scope of Works, Understand Contractual Requirements (Reporting, Early Warnings, Interface and other Notifications), Raise Questions & Develop Proposals (internally as well as to the client and other Third Parties), Review / Develop and agree with the project team proposed method of work, Identify Interfaces and Programme Constraints, Update Programme with progress, Develop Mitigation Proposals, Development of Programme Commentary / Planning information required for Progress Reports
Incorporate Changes
Review scope of works and propose methods to be adopted to complete works, Review programme sequence with respect to contractual restraints, Review Programme Risk and mitigation methods adopted or qualification proposed with respect to:-
Mobilisation, Design, Construction Interfaces, Labour, Plant and Subcontract requirement
Submit proposal to revise contract programme with respect to these changes and produce substation reports if necessary
Product Reports, Produce Reports as required by the Client, Produce Reports as required by Project Team
