HSSE Manager

A leading oil and gas company based in South London are seeking a HSSE Manager. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.



We require an HSSE Manager with experience in health, safety, security and

environmental activities relevant to oil and gas pipeline and subsea engineering

projects.



We are interested in those with corporate and project experience in areas

such as HSSE planning, risk assessment, HAZOPs and related activities for the

engineering, procurement and construction phases of projects. The role will involve

management of corporate HSSE activities and working with our project

teams on a range of subsea and onshore pipeline projects.





Providing HSSE support to company and project management to ensure

activities comply with our integrated HSEQ management system

and statutory requirements.



Developing and delivering HSSE expectations and performance measures.



Providing HSSE leadership and direction to company and project

management and personnel.



Demonstrating our HSSE priorities to clients.



Working closely with other HSEQ personnel within the company and on

projects.





Key accountabilities will include:



Managing all company HSSE activities and ensuring that a high level of

HSSE management is maintained by projects.



Working with the HSEQ Manager to ensure that the integrated HSEQ

Management System is implemented and improved in the areas of HSSE.



Developing and implementing the company and project HSSE plans and

procedures required to meet our HSEQ Management system

requirements.



Developing a proactive team approach in ensuring a culture of no accidents,

no incidents and no damage to the environment.



Conducting HSSE audits/reviews across the company and projects to

determine gaps in our management system requirements, thereby

driving improvements in the system.





Developing the project HSSE standards, expectations, common processes

and tools that project teams will use to deliver world class HSSE

performance in design.



Developing and supporting the implementation of the Hazard & Effect

Management Processes as required for projects.



Monitoring company and project HSSE performance in meeting objectives

and implementing HSSE management plans.



Establishing, cultivating and promoting HSSE behavioural & competence

programmes for company and project personnel.
