Maintenance/Planning Leader

Maintenance Planning Leader is required to work in Sheffield within manufacturing.

We are looking for a Maintenance Planning Leader to work for an Aerospace manufacturing company based in Sheffield.

It is important that you have both practical experience as well as experience of leadership within manufacturing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensure compliance with all company and legislative requirements, supporting the Facilities manager in planning and developing an annual mandatory inspection register

Lead the maintenance planning of PPM and TPM workload

Continually review and support Environmental, Health and Safety issues in all departments supporting company initiatives, with a particular working knowledge and understanding of PUWER regs.

Control and manage sub-contractors, ensuring value for money and technical competence

Be able to drive change within the workforce

Manage and support a diverse technical team by setting standards and expectations and raising performance

Project manage a number of diverse engineering activities, in cluding facilities and capital equipment

Promote a safe working environment

Support the facilities manager in analysing data in support or preventative, root cause and best practice maintenance activities

Organise and control resources to ensure compliance with all statutory and legal services of plant and equipment

Manage and support a diverse technical team by setting standards and expectations

It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, CNC and software controls.

You will also need to have good presentation skills and be computer literate.

The salary is upto £31,000 per annul.

You will be working 08:00 - 16:00 Mon-Thurs, 08:00 - 13:00 Fri.
