M&E BUILDING SERVICES/FACILITIES MANAGER-DOCKLANDS-LONDON

Salary: £35,000 per annum + Car Allowance (£6420)
Location: London, Docklands

Position Details
The successful candidate will be responsible for building services equipment provided in our clients properties. We are looking for experience of managing Data Centres and candidates must have a good understanding of electrical systems.

Our client is one of the UK's leading software and IT companies providing solutions to the Public Sector with particular emphasis on Local Government, Public Safety and Criminal Justice.

Essential Skills
- Technical skills in building services, particularly electrical systems.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal, across a broad spectrum of people, both within the Company and externally.
- Working knowledge of AutoCad systems would be useful. Competent use of Word, Excel or similar programmes is required.
- Working knowledge of Building Management Systems is essential.

Responsibilities:
- To assist Building Services manager to ensure that all equipment within Company’s property (particularly London City) and mobile delivery is functional and maintained strictly in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions so that there is minimal unplanned downtime in Company’s facilities and that Mobile Recovery can meet contractual obligations.
- To assist in running projects as directed, particularly within London City.
- To assist at time of invocations of the mobile product offering.
- To prepare monthly reports as appropriate to line management that gives clarity of operational risk and project progress in order that necessary measures can be put in place.
- To provide assistance to the surveying team on an ad-hoc basis.
