An urgent requirement for an MEP Project Manager with experience in construction supervision of prestigious developments for a key project in Oman.
Reporting to the Resident Engineer or Construction Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring the mechanical and electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual, as and when directed by the Resident Engineer.
- Monitoring and controlling the day to day activities of the mechanical inspectors i.e. site work inspection as well as inspection of the materials delivered in Contractors store.
- Ensuring inspections are carried out on time and to quality of installation and delivered materials are maintained as per the relevant specifications / standards as well as relevant local authority's regulations / requirements.
- Overseeing construction of 4 basements and 5 podium levels, public areas including specification compliance, construction supervision and engineering approvals.
The candidate will also be responsible to oversee: water feature, kitchen equipment, window cleaning equipment, fuel piping system, fire alarms and hydrants as well as the MEP main works and matters related to quality assurance of MEP works for compliance with approvals and review of shop drawings and follow up site installations.
Proven experience. Overseas experience essential. Previous MENA experience a distinct advantage.
