We are working with a market leading multi-disciplinary consultancy on a vacancy for a NRTS Communications Engineer in their Birmingham office. This company are held in very high regard throughout the construction industry and have worked on some of the most high profile projects around the World.
As a NRTS Communications Engineer you will provide design expertise on communication issues within a highways environment. You will support the project manager assisting with the progression towards targets and helping to identify skills shortages in the team. You will ensure that designs consider civil and environmental aspects as well traditional fibre/copper communication aspects.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- Preferably a chartered engineer or progressing towards chartered status
- Experience in the design of control and communication systems in a transport environment
- Knowledge of telecommunications, systems and related technology
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Previous success in a customer facing environment
