Planning Engineer - All disciplines

Planning Engineer - Nova Scotia. Our client have been specialising in new ship construction, ship repair, ship conversion and vessel refits for over 100 years. You will be able to demonstrate industrial planning experience ideally within a shipyard.

- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop Work Packages for the Production Team

- Develop Pick Lists

- Maintain Daily Status of Work Progression

- Provide Assistance to the Production Team

- Interface with the Purchasing Team and Track Material Availability

- Attend Daily and Weekly Progress Meetings


Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:

- Demonstrated planning experience in a Engineering Environment

- Demonstrated planning experience in an Industrial Environment

- Experience with Project Management Principles would be considered an asset.

- Planning experience in the Shipbuilding Industry would be considered an asset.

- Strong Computer Skills including the MS Office Suite and Auto CAD

- Strong Communication Skills
