A well respected consultancy is now recruiting for a major project, Crossrail. The ideal individual will be chartered and have significant post-graduate experience of major civil engineering projects from a geotechnical perspective. This is an opportunity to lead a design team and mentor the junior staff within a major project.
Civil Engineering related degree, BEng level minimum
MSc in geotechnical engineering is advantageous
Chartered, MICE
Significant relevant post graduate experience with consultants and / or contractors.
Capabilities in a range of geotechnical analysis software for foundations, retaining structures and slopes
Thorough understanding of geotechnical design principles and their relevant applications
Experience with main contractors on major Design & Build projects, particularly in soft ground tunnel and underground space design
Active within industry Institutions, Forums or Societies.
Keen to understand, investigate and embrace new technologies, design philosophies or construction techniques applicable to Geotechnical Engineering.
