Major aerospace OEM requires Production Planning Engineer - contract

Our client is a major aero engine OEM, currently undertaking several different international programmes. This increased workload in manufacturing, necessitates the need for a Process Planning Engineer - this is a six month contract opportunity.

Tasks:
Carry out planning activities and associated tasks in support of the Manufacturing Instruction programme
Support MDC / cell Quality plan activities
Support Site development project
Generate and support FAIRs & DCM sheets

You will have proven experience of:
The maintenance and creation of the manufacturing sequence via TIMES & SAP
Creating and updating of manufacturing stage drawings via CADDS 5
Creating of manufacturing models from COS to finished part via CADDS5
Creation of BOM
Understanding of critical parts control
Understanding of FAIR / LAIR process
