Overview
Digby Morris client was formed in 1965 and has developed into a world-class EPC Turnkey Contractor in Industrial and Power Projects including Co-generation, Combined Cycle and Steam Power Plants. Under this expansion, the company has undertaken the largest and most challenging turnkey projects in Saudi Arabia and the region using various state of the art technologies.
Their capabilities comprise full-scale and integrated capabilities in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Fabrication, and Start-up & Commissioning. They have a big fleet of Construction equipments and a workforce totalling 18,000 employees.
The Project
The company has been recently been awarded a $570 million contract for the plant engineering, civils construction and mechanical erection package on the 1,900-MW Al-Qurayyah open-cycle power plant approx 70km south of Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia.
The Person
You will ideally be a chartered engineer with an MSc/MEng/BEng/BSc in Mechanical engineering. You will also have experience in the power plant sector and have operated at a similar level on similar projects before. You will have experience on project management and site supervision on CCGT projects as well as contract administration including change control and cost control procedures.
