A leading consultancy that work delivering product design and development services into the Healthcare and Medical sectors is looking for a Project Manager. You will be responsible for leading and working on a range of technical projects in the Healthcare industry, primarily relating to the design and development of devices, products and instrumentation. The role is based near Saffron Walden on the Essex/Cambridgeshire boarder and is paying between £45,000 - £60,000.
The role will focus on project management duties, entailing all responsibilities consistent with successfully delivering projects to meet client needs. There will also be scope for hands on technical
work contributing to the delivery of innovative and robust designs.
To be successful in this role you it is preferred that you have an Honours degree in Science, Design
or Engineering (Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Electronics, Software).
You will have significant experience in the field of Healthcare products and medical device development with a proven track record of successfully delivering multi disciplinary development projects working to tightly controlled timescales and budgets.
Extensive experience of the product development process from concept through to manufacture and
production.
You possess good leadership, management and communications skills with the ability to manage colleagues, clients and sub-contractors at technical and non-technical levels.
It would be of great benefit if you had experience of working in a Technical consultancy with the following knowledge:
Risk management, Medical device regulations, Business development, Mentoring/people development, Proven track record of working in technical roles, heading or as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
