Major Middle East Civil Engineering contractor urgently requires an experienced Project Manager to manage a new domestic waste water project in Oman.
The project is a new sanitary waste water network which will collect waste water by a gravity network conveying the flow until discharging into main trunk sewers running along tile main corridors. The main trunk sewers (200mm - 700mm in diameter) in turn will discharge the waste water into the main collector sewers which serves the whole designated area and conveys the flows to the Treatment Plant.
The project will serve more than 4250 existing properties, the majority of which are residential, and will involve installing 2000+ new manholes between 1200mm - 1800mm in diameter. The works will also include house connections to inspection chambers by means of a rider sewer of 150mm UPVC pipework.
Candidates MUST have a minimum 10+ years experience in a similar position in dirty/waste water environment. A civil engineering degree would be an advantage, with Middle East experience also an advantage due to the multicultural team you would be managing.
