QA ENGINEER

Our client has an urgent requirement for a QA Engineer on a major Oil & Gas project in Qatar. Due to the nature and the project they are very specific in the individual they are seeking to recruit.

Candidates must hold a degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering and have Lead Auditor Certification experience on ISO 9001 - 2000.

To be considered for this role you will have the following experience:
- Minimum 15 Years in Oil and Gas Industry
- Minimum 5 Years hands on experience, working in the Project Construction Side of Oil and Gas Industry (Pipelines / Process Plants) as inspector / engineer during early stages of career.
- Minimum 10Years hands on experience in developing / review and approval of Project QC documents of various disciplines and in various phases of the EPIC Projects.
- Previous experience in developing and implementation and monitoring of QMS system documentation.
- Minimum 7 Years hands on experience in conducting the QMS audits as Auditor and Lead Auditor and developing the Audit Reports, raising CAR and follow up for closure.

You will also have a good overall understanding and knowledge of all the disciplines and interfaces in an EPIC Oil and Gas Project environment.

You will also have good knowledge of GRP Piping, associated mechanical components, procurement process and supplier Quality Assurance aspects. Overall you will have good systems and process approach with excellent interpersonal and report writing skills.
