Regional Purchasing Manager, Oil & Gas Consultancy - Singapore

My client is a leading Oil & Gas Consultancy which specialise in providing geophysical services to major clients in the Oil & Gas sector. The scope of their services includes Seismic Acquisition, Data Processing & imaging and Reservoir Management. They are an international company currently operating all over the world.

For their office in Singapore they are currently looking for a Regional Purchasing Manager to cover the APAC area. In your position you will be accountable for all purchasing activities across various product lines within South East Asia. You will work alongside the Lead Buyers of other business units to develop and plan purchasing activities.

You will also be involved with spend analysis and assessment of supplier performance in order to identify opportunities where purchasing performance can be maximised. Developing the purchasing strategy will also be a major part of your role.

For this role my client is looking for a candidate with the following profile:

* 10+ years experience in Purchasing (min 5 years as a Purchasing Manager)

* A strong technical background

* Excellent knowledge of the Asian Market

* International experience

* Background in Oil & Gas not essential, manufacturing & electrical experience of interest
