Senior Development Consultant (Wind Farms)

A renewable energy consulting engineers in Bath, Somerset who provide services to the Offshore & Onshore industry for wind energy projects including, wave and tidal and biomass now require Senior Development Consultants. You will report directly to the Director of Development and you will support him to lead and support the onshore and offshore wind and other renewable technologies development consultancy services. You will need to have excellent project management skills and a high level of technical experience and knowledge of working with client's projects on the renewable energies market, therefore the ability to manage client relationships will be a critical part of your role. As a key member of the Development team your leadership skills will be paramount to help drive the team forward as will be the development of key accounts and new business. It is essential that you will have a proven track record in onshore and/or offshore wind renewable energies market and you will need to have gained previous experience in a commercial renewable energies or development environment. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken with good client management skills and the capability to manage, coach and support team members. You will also need a good understanding of development issues in the renewable energies market along with a detailed understanding of key renewable technologies, either offshore & onshore wind, preferably both along with a good understanding of the regulatory processes in Renewable Development and a relevant Professional Membership
