Senior Project Managers - Substations

As part of a significant increase in the demand for the construction of new substations in the Abu Dhabi region, we have been instructed by our client to assist in the recruitment of a number of Project Managers. You will be directly employed by one of the largest International consultancies with a reputation as a global leader in all aspects of power generation, transmission and distribution.
Successful applicants will take up the position of Project Manager as Owners Engineer for the construction of 400kV GIS substations.
As the lead on the project you will be responsible for a team of engineers to manage and supervise the construction of substations in accordance with specification ensuring quality and execution to time and budget, to the client's satisfaction.
Due to restrictions set in place we can only consider candidates who are degree qualified, ideally BSc in Electrical Engineering with related experience in management and construction of HV substations, experience in Middle East environments is preferred. Additional experience in erecting and testing of GIS switchgear associated protection and control systems would be a distinct advantage.
Due to the senior nature of these positions you will need excellent communication and liaison skills and be able to relate to both site-based teams and boardroom level clients.
