We are working with a market leading multi-disciplinary consultancy on a vacancy for a Senior Transport Technology Engineer for Rail Projects in their Croydon office. This company are held in very high regard throughout the construction industry and have worked on some of the most high profile projects around the World.
Following a significant increase in workload a Senior Transport Technology Engineer is required to ensure the successful delivery of a number of prestigious technology based projects. Current clients include Network Rail, Crossrail and London Underground. You will work on major rail and infrastructure projects in the Midlands, East and South East providing design expertise on communication issues within a rail environment. In time you will take on the role of project manager for small to medium sized projects.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- Preferably a Chartered/Incorporated Engineer or working towards it
- Experience in design of control and communications systems in a transport environment
- Experience of communications design in a rail environment
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Previous success in a client facing role
- Experience of working to tight deadlines within budget
- Ideally specific experience of next generation telecomms
