Site Manager - Electrical Sub-stations RC Frame - Immediate - Beds, Bucks, Herts

I am currently working on a client of mine who has won a contract with EDF Energy on new build and installation of electric substations in the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire area.

If you have prior experience of either building, or installing the Electric cables on sub-stations and would like to apply for this role, then I want to hear from you.

The sub-stations are reinforced concrete and the installation of the cables to the switch-houses can go from 32kv to 132kv. No need to be a Senior Authorised Person as these new builds will not be live at the time of installation but previous experience of HV electric would be advantageous.

I am currently looking for 3 different roles:

Experienced Site Managers x 3 who can run the new build project and oversee the electrical installation.

CDM Site Manager who can work under the Electrical Project Manager with experience of HV.

Electrical Site Manager who can manage the installation and fit out of the electrics 11kv, 33kv and 132kv to the sub-stations. HV not necessary but advantageous.

This is an immediate start so you must be available within 1 weeks notice. Long Term Freelance contract. £25 - £35 per hour (depending on experience).

If you are interested in this role please forward your updated CV with an email stating how your experience matches. If you do not include your experience in a covering letter, you will still be considered but priority will be taken to those who do.

I am expecting a large response from this so only successful applications will be considered. Closing date will be Friday 30th October 2009
