IMMEDIATE START FOR A SITE MANGER IN KENT FOR A MAJOR REGIONAL DEVELOPER

My client is a leading national and regional developer with over 23 live sites and an annual turnover of £150m per annum. They are involved in traditional and high rise house building and are in a solid position to buy land to add to their solid landbank. They are pursuing an aggressive expansion in their southern regions following a rights issue. They require a site manger in Caterham for one of several traditional build schemes in the south east.

The role reports to the production manger. It will involve about 30 units of traditional build houses. Major foundation alteration is needed, 9 units need finishing and 6 units need to be built from scratch. Ideally you will have had volume house building experience both internals and externals and experience of high pressure environments, being able to take the site from inception to completion. First aid qualifications and CSCS would also be desirable. You need to be able to travel to site within 1 hour and have had at least five years experience with a UK house builder.

In return my client is looking to offer £17ph on a temporary basis with an internal training scheme that they will put you through. In the long term they look to offer the applicant a permanent position in January. With this permanent position they are looking to offer a package of £38-43k per annum basic as well as car allowance, pension, healthcare and a discretionary 10% bonus scheme.
