A Technical Architect, preferably with Service Industry experience is required by a leading Consultancy based in the London area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for successful delivery of each development release project, on time and to budget and agreed scope and quality. In return, a salary of £70,000 - £85,000 plus benefits is on offer, as well as the chance to work with an industry leading organisation.
This is an Architecture role, not a senior developer role so please only apply if you have experience of working as an Technical / Solutions Architect.
You will need the following experience:
Delivery focused and flexible in work undertaken
IT delivery experience ideally within the financial service industry
Delivering enterprise level solutions within J2EE architecture.
Detailed knowledge of all aspects of the Java / J2EE frameworks.
Upwardly facing communication experience/skills
Team lead experience
Strong Object Oriented skills (e.g. from Java or C++)
Openlink experience
Strong UML design skills
Experience of iterative/agile development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, DSDM, RUP etc.)
Experience of Oracle, Java and Tibco would be a benefit
It is ESSENTIAL that you have excellent technical ability with the Java / J2EE framework and strong Openlink experience, coupled with experience of working with Agile, please only apply if you possess these skills.
There is a chance that at some point in the future you may have to achieve security clearance which means you need to hold a British passport and been in the UK for at least the last five years.
