I am looking for a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for delivering Enterprise level solutions primarily for the Financial Services Sector. This client are a very exciting company to work for, who use cutting edge technology and aim to deliver real business benefit by use of technology and project delivery techniques to its clients. The role is based in London but you need to be flexible in terms of working away and is paying £75,000 - £90,000.
They are looking for a Technical Project Manager who will possess' a strong background in technical project management and team leadership for enterprise application delivery for blue chip clients, preferably within in the financial industry (banking, trading, brokerage or software house), but not essentially. These projects would be based on industry standard technology, the Java / J2EE framework so you need to have a technical knowledge of Java / J2EE.
You will have a strong track record in managing projects for the Full Software Development Life-cycle. You should have had control of budgets in excess of £2m and you will have excellent Project Delivery experience.
Experience of the full project life-cycle for enterprise level solutions.
Experience of iterative/Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, DSDM, RUP etc.). Experience of Design Patterns, Use Cases and UML.
Experience within the financial markets and/or oil, gas and power would be a benefit.
A self-starter with excellent communication skills both to developers and Senior Management.
