Temporary Works design engineer - East Midlands - General Civil - Salary dependent upon experience
This client of mine is one of the UKs top contractors, and is successful in a number of sectors throughout build, general infrastructure and utilities. They have been a strong market force for over 100 years, and are continuing to grow, sustainably.
They are looking for a temporary works design engineer, who will be responsible for the design and co-ordination of temp works. You will be required to advise site teams and tender teams on the constructability of clients works of design. You will work within the civil engineering division, so it will be important that you have relevant experience, gained at one or more reputable civil contractors.
Tasks will include;
* Battered and support evacuations
* Temp fencing
* Pipeline pressure tests
* Working platforms for piling rigs & cranes etc.
You will come from a civil engineering degree background; have 5 years experience gained within design & supervision of temporary works for civil engineering projects.
