A leading global healthcare organisation is currently recruiting for a Territory Manager to join the Diabetes Care team. Patch: West London. Competitive, depending on experience.



The position of Territory Manager will ideally suit an experienced pharmaceutical/hospital sales professional.



You will be responsible for the generation of new business as well as for the maintenance of existing Diabetes Care business.



Core job responsibilities:

1. Positive promotion and sales of products and services to reflect Company strategy

- Focus on current portfolio in order of company priority. To be monitored via Salesforce.com

- Effective utilization of marketing materials in line with company direction



2. Management of individual Territory

- Prioritising activity

- Ensuring effective coverage of Key customer groups

- Business Analysis

- Keeping up to date with activity reporting

- appropriate Management of sales activity

- Keeping up to date with market and industry developments

- Maintaining Hospital database, and customer records



3. Develop and Maintain Internal and external customer relations

- Communication with Management,Hospital Team,and Head office personnel

- Communication with DNS's,Bio-Chemists,PN's,Retail customers..etc



4. Achieve given sales targets,gaining new business and maintaining existing business

- Targets

- Market Share Growth

- Activity targets

- Increasing Patient Support

- -Movement in Ranking position throughout year



5. Provide relevant information to management and fulfil administration requirements on time

- Up to date reporting via Salesforce.com

- Paper, E-Mail communication in line with all deadlines set

- Regular telephone communication

- Submission of monthly reports. ( Hi-light reports/planners/spreadsheets)

- Regular submission of Expenses



6. Attendance and positive contribution at Company Meetings

- National Sales Meetings

- Regional Sales Meetings

- Developmental Training

- Product Launches



Skills/Experience Requirements

- Ideally previous pharmaceutical / hospital sales experience required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent planning and organisational skills.

- Interested in the healthcare industry.

- Good understanding of the wider NHS.

- Ability to interpret data.



Education Requirements:

Degree Level or equivalent



The Territory Manager will be covering West London, and it is essential that you live within reach of the patch.

The salary offered will be competitive and depend on experience - please state salary expectations on application. Package includes company car, bonus, benefits.
