Travel Planner - London- £26 Per Hour
Our client, a central London borough is looking to recruit an experienced Travel planner to join their team of coordinators in the design, adoption and implementation of workplace travel plans in the North Central Travel Plan Network (NCTN) region. The position works in partnership with public, private and community organisations to encourage and support workplaces to produce site-based travel plans in 6 central London Boroughs.
The successful candidate will provide assistance to the NCTN member boroughs for the establishment of systems and practices related to specific workplace travel plans and general travel plan awareness. To prepare monitoring information to Transport for London (TfL) and the NCTN partners regarding the take up of and progress with workplace travel plans and travel plan initiatives as appropriate. To facilitate internal and external communications, consultation and partnerships. To monitor the effectiveness of actions related to the work of the NCTN. To assist and promote the NCTN objectives of integrated and sustainable transport and to contribute to strategies and policies in the six boroughs that support such objectives.
This position is long ter m cover within the team and the contract will run until early 2010.
