A Project Site Coordinator is a key position on any project as it requires the overseeing of all aspects of the project using established planning, monitoring, and controlling processes. 
The list of responsibilities is exhaustive and too lengthy to run through in detail, but key duties include ensuring clear communication between client and design team, coordinate and manage all client and site meetings, manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope, apply design methodology and enforce project standards whilst minimising exposure and risk on the project. You will also create and execute project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements in addition to identifying resourcing needs and assigning individual responsibilities. 
The core competencies required focus around communication and organisation, facilitating effective team and client meetings, providing regular status updates to the project team, resolve or escalate issues efficiently and in good time and possessing a strong technical understanding 
Successful applicants will have proven experience in design and construction with a focus on full service delivery, whilst exhibiting technical leadership and in-depth knowledge of building construction along with the ability to motivate others. 
You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in project management and the 
coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.

You will be contracted into a 24 month contract, which will be extended depending on performance. 
The Role - Duties and Responsibilities 
*Conduct in Client's safety reviews for Contractor and Sub Contractor. 
*Review the contract documents for each Package in respect of Safety requirements and procedures and advise the Construction Manager of any irregularity. 
*Review Safety Procedures submitted by the Contractors and ensure implementation is in compliance with Contract requirements. 
*Review Test Plans as submitted by the Contractors and ensure compliance with safety requirements. 
*Ensure all on site activities are in accordance with safety procedures in relation to the format signed off by Contractor's Safety Officer. 
*Ensure Contractor's Safety Training for Site staff is regularly maintained. 
*Ensure Contractor's on site staff are following safety procedures and report to Project Director in case of defects. 
*Management of Labour and Materials movement. 
*Liaising with EHS team with regards to Health and Safety issues including site Accidents; Fire protection; Ambulance access. 
*Management of Sanitary facilities; Waste removal. 
*Managing the on time delivery of temporary and permanent services (e.g. electricity) to Third Party Developers.
*Hoarding Fencing and Signboard management. 
*Management of developer charges for dewatering, maintenance of permanent and temporary roads, damage rectification etc. 
*Assisting with dispute resolution. 
*Management of communication methods and protocols. 
*Review and management of Third Party Developer contracts, responsibilities and obligations. Review and management of Third Party Developers Site Logistics Plans. 
*Review and management of Master Developers Master Plan, Logistics and Phasing.

Overview

Their capabilities comprise full-scale and integrated capabilities in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Fabrication, and Start-up &amp; Commissioning. They have a big fleet of Construction equipments and a workforce totalling 18,000 employees.
The Project 
The company has been recently been awarded a $570 million contract for the plant engineering, civils construction and mechanical erection package on the 1,900-MW Al-Qurayyah open-cycle power plant approx 70km south of Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia.
The Person
You will ideally be a chartered engineer with an MSc/MEng/BEng/BSc in Mechanical engineering. You will also have experience in the power plant sector and have operated at a similar level on similar projects before. You will have experience on project management and site supervision on CCGT projects as well as contract administration including change control and cost control procedures.
