Our client is seeking electrical Construction and Project Managers for London and the South East of England. Our client is an established main contractor and due to a large order book for 2010 are immediately seeking to employ electrical Project Managers.
The Project Manager must have previous experience of managing HV and Substation projects and have a good knowledge of distribution.
Remuneration:
£30,000-£42,000 with full benefits, the salary is dependant on experience.

Location: Ascension Island 
Salary: Up to £43,200 P/A (TAX FREE) 
Employment Status: Permanent (27 month contract with a view for extension)

Company Overview
Our client a large International and UK based major construction and built environment organisation currently with many long term premier facilities management and property service contracts partnering with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) throughout the world.
Job Purpose
Responsible for the day-to-day site operation and service delivery for the contract including supply partner performance of this MoD / Defence Estates Infrastructure Support provider contract (ISP).
Job Description
To be responsible for the procurement and management of Project works services related to the design, construction, maintenance, repair and operation of buildings, plant, building services and associated facilities. 
To manage the operation and maintenance of installed plant and machinery in accordance with statutory requirements. Provide reports and advice on FM Project management including CDM, planning, specifying, designing, managing and executing all works services for completion within budget and delivery timescales.
To develop close working relations and collaborate fully with the MoD and the various military staff to ensure a high quality of service delivery provision focussed on the requirements. To provide sound and experienced leadership to the ISP Contract Team both on the Falkland Islands and Ascension Island ensuring clear lines of communication. To be proactive in the development of the service delivery strategy, driving out increasing operational improvements over the term of the contract and demonstrating the benefits. To ensure that the service is delivered in a customer focussed and flexible manner. To assume responsibility for the control of contract resources and financial budgets. To ensure that accurate information pertaining to the Contract is available for access to members of the Supply Organisation and that it is delivered within agreed timescales. To be responsible for the contract performance throughout the contract.
To be ultimately responsible for the full compliance with Defence / MoD and company personnel and policies relating to Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Environment as well as applicable legislation and UK best practice. To allocate the necessary resources to ensure all contract training needs are met as identified through strict adherence to the company employee appraisal scheme. To manage, procure and complete all of the contractual requirements in compliance with the agreed documents. 
Communication: Develop positive, supportive working relationships with the team and Company’s colleagues.
Person Profile / Competencies:
Our client seeks an experienced Manager required with extensive experience and knowledge of Operations Management, Facilities Management, Maintenance Management, Contracts Management, Personnel Management, Project Management and Building Services Engineering. Who can Build winning teams, sets standards for high performance, manage people issues, commitment to developing self and others, planning and organising, quality orientation, communication skills commercial awareness, creativity / innovation and flexibility 
Qualifications
Ideally Degree, HNC / HNC or/and Chartered status in Building Construction, Engineering or similar.
