My client, who have secured a contract to carry out the repair on consumer packaged electronic equipment, have an openings for 4 production team leaders. The successful candidate will be required to work within a Monday - Friday double day shift, fixed on either early or late shift (which attracts a shift bonus).
The successful candidates will lead a team of people and co-ordinate the day to day production activities to achieve customer delight and business goals; through focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team based culture.
Principle Accountabilities
Operational Processes, Procedures and Project Delivery 
* Responsible for adhering to manufacturing audit specifications and work instructions. 
* Responsible for output delivery to SLA
* Responsible for adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001
* Responsible for the physical appearance and safety of the working environment. 
* Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards. 
* Ensure health and safety standards are achieved on an ongoing basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety. 
â?¢ Ensure all direct activities have a relevant standard operating procedure and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Monitoring and Measuring
â?¢ Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance. 
â?¢Provide weekly daily and monthly performance reports and develop and maintain visual management boards for the team. 
â?¢ Monitor progress against Key Performance Indicators and costs against budget.
Resource Management
â?¢ Manage the allocation of work on a daily basis, controlling headcount and overtime budgets and ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets met. 
â?¢ Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development. 
â?¢ Monitor team absence and performance, taking action where necessary. 
â?¢ Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information. 
â?¢ Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues taking account of the appropriate policies and ethical practice.
External Interfaces

Competencies, Skills and Experience
â?¢ Previous supervisory experience of medium to large teams
â?¢ Demonstrable intellect to A level standard or equivalent
â?¢ Relevant industry experience
â?¢ Batch production or build to order experience would be desirable
â?¢ A working knowledge of consumer packaged electronics would be desirable
â?¢ Previous experience of delivering improvements that generate additional profit
â?¢ Experience of working in telecoms or FMCG environments desirable

11.Will be responsible for a number of low spend commodities to ensure the necessary agreements are in place
Prospective Purchasing Team Leaders must possess significant procurement experience within the construction industry, and be accustomed to managing and leading teams. Your main responsibilities will be to work as part of a highly focused and flexible team and undertake particulate (HEPA) filter and iodine absorption plant testing operations on customer sites. You will act as team leader where experience and/or qualification permits. You will be responsible for providing support to other parts of the Service Team as required and you will be involved in the preparation and verifying of test reports in compliance with corporate management systems
You will come from a Engineering or Scientific background and although experience of working on a nuclear licensed site and awareness of Site License Requirements is preferred it is not essential and we welcome applications from candidates from a non-nuclear background.

KEY SKILLS/EXPERTISE:
* CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience of leading and motivating a team, co-ordinating and prioritising their workload, within a shared service environment.
* Previous experience of working as an HR generalist is essential. 
* Knowledge / experience of TUPE operations would also be advantageous
* Knowledge of HR and payroll systems is highly desirable. 
* Experience of working with SAP system and/or system implementation would be particularly useful.
* Sound PC knowledge with competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
* Ability to work in a busy team environment, to challenging deadlines.
* Positive, hardworking and fun outlook with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
SALARY:
Between £30,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience
