Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor required to commercially manage a large D&amp;B refurbishment project within an upmarket area of London. Typically projects are for high net worth clients and are either complete gut and refurbishments, structural alterations, retained facades, major roof top &amp; basement extensions, completed to a high standard with hi-tech fittings, very high quality finishes and bespoke items.
Your responsibilities will include complete budget and cost control, financial reporting, commercial management of variations and subcontractors, valuations and payments, all from pre-construction stage or contract award; working closely with the Project Manager you will be focused upon delivery of an interesting and diverse project within budget, additionally you will liaise with Client/Project consultants to ensure the project runs smoothly, any potential issues are resolved early and the Final account is agreed as the project proceeds. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director.
Requirements: Applicants must have experience of private sector high quality residential or hotel refurbishment projects of £3m+ for Main Contractors, you will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects. You must also have had steady career progression and long periods of employment with Main Contractors. You must be a UK resident and living within commutable distance of central London.
