Project 
This position is to work on an external refurbishment contract in 
Camden valued at 2 million. The scheme consists of window replacements, concrete repair and new roofing.
The project starts early December and we are seeking someone with previous experience of managing social housing refurbishment projects. The successful individual will be a proactive leader and good people manager.

As part of the school federal government stimulus injection this contractor has been awarded a number of school projects up to $4m in value. Due to this workload my client requires Site Managers / General Foreman with a sound understanding of the construction process to work on a couple of these projects simultaneously in a stand alone manner. Previous experience on Education projects would be beneficial but not essential.
You will be extremely organised, possess outstanding team management skills, with excellent structures and finishes knowledge. Ideally you will have previously worked on projects between $10m and $30m, or larger, for the projects that will follow the education work they will be undertaking.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to: 
Programming the construction process, monitoring and reporting their progress.
Overall responsibility for delivering the projects on time and within budget.
Attending and contributing to client meetings. 
Managing the subcontractors on site, with responsibility for Health and Safety.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager based in the Head Office.
